Getting Away with Murder

This year we’re back in Sequim, on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State, with our intrepid Sequim Homocide Detectives, Dimitri Trevesani and Tom Jones.

Homicide Detective Dmitri Trevasani of the Sequim, Washington Police Department and his partner, Homicide Detective Tom Jones find themselves taking on the case of an 89-year-old woman who seemingly died from natural causes.  The woman’s niece and three nephews show up at the station with the autopsy report in hand, demanding the arrest of their cousin, the elderly lady’s caregiver, for murder. 

After interviewing the siblings, Dmitri has a distinct gut feeling that there is more to their tale than what they are revealing.  He couldn’t be more right. 

Dmitri and Tom soon find themselves embroiled in a family feud.  As they follow and verify every piece of evidence they have and Dmitri spends more time questioning their prime suspect, he finds himself growing closer to her, jeopardizing the case and his career.
